    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Promotes and sales products to prospective customers including individuals, contractors,
    • builders, designers and architects|
    • Generates and develops new business through leads and follow up on ‘hot’ prospects
    • Builds and fosters relationships with new and existing client base to promote future growth and sales opportunities
    • Supports internal design and sales teams including showroom consultants and outside sales with multiple construction and renovation projects in various stages of development

    Requirements:
    A Bachelor’s Degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers
    • Demonstrated prioritization / time management skills
    • Self-motivation
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office

    Preferred:

    The Community Development Director (CDD) directs the city's community development activities. The major duties include coordinating, monitoring and supervising the activities of the department, including planning, building, and community service program operations. The CDD administers the city's zoning ordinance and land development regulations. Works closely with property owners and developers on new projects and expansions.     Bachelor's Degree preferred in a course of study related to the occupational field.     The salary range for this position is $51,557.00-$78,144.00 depending on experience and qualifications.     The Housing Authority of Columbus, GA, (HACG) is seeking a candidate for the position of Modernization Inspector. This position provides oversight of housing construction. The ability to read and understand construction blueprints is mandatory. Performs various maintenance tasks and insures the return of completed building to occupancy status.

     


    Must have: Exceptional knowledge of plumbing, heating and electrical systems. Assists with the coordination of warranty work.

    The Coordinator directly manages all local GACares program components, including the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) and SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol). Minimum Requirements are as followings:

     

    • An undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience;
    • The equivalent of three (3) years of full-time work experience with at least two (2) years in aging, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, volunteer coordination or related fields. Comparable experience and/or graduate education may be substituted at the discretion of the Area Agency on Aging;
    • Good program management skills;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills;
    • Good interpersonal skills and;
    • Good organizational skills.
