    Must be eligible for an Alabama RN License or have an unencumbered Alabama RN license. Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of the employment. Must
    possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

     

    Desired Qualifications:
    3-5 years of NP practice in a primary care or family practice setting and currently in an established collaborative, or able to establish a collaborative practice in a primary care or family practice setting. Graduate teaching experience in an accredited family or primary care nurse practitioner program is preferable.

  • Community Development Director

    The Community Development Director (CDD) directs the city's community development activities. The major duties include coordinating, monitoring and supervising the activities of the department, including planning, building, and community service program operations. The CDD administers the city's zoning ordinance and land development regulations. Works closely with property owners and developers on new projects and expansions. Serves as an advisor to the Planning Board.
    Oversees plan reviews and the issuance of development permits. Supervises the preparation and presentation of planning-related requests to the Mayor and City Council. Prepares and monitors the department budget. Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Minimum Requirements:|
    Bachelor's Degree preferred in a course of study related to the occupational field. Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the subunits in the division/department in order to direct and coordinate work within the division/department, usually interpreted to require three to five years of related experience.

    Salary: |
    The salary range for this position is $51,557.00-$78,144.00 depending on experience and qualifications. The City offers an excellent benefits package, which includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, paid vacation and holidays and is a member of the Georgia Municipal Association Retirement Plan.
