    • A high school diploma and three (3) years experience in the refrigeration/HVAC repair field;
    • kitchen equipment repair experience preferred, but not required;
    • to include two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
    • Must have an EPA certification (universal preferred) or obtain within one (1) year of employment.


    • Plan, organize, direct and coordinate through subordinates and supervisors necessary work to ensure competent installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and related equipment and systems at all institutions and facilities throughout the state.
    • Supervise and assist in the preventive maintenance of, emergency repairs of and installation of new HVAC systems and related equipment and systems.
    • Review and approve requisitions and prepare specifications for materials and/or replacement equipment as needed.
    • Maintains adequate records for the performance of HVAC systems.
    • A universal epa certification is required.
    • A CDL license is required or obtain within 6 months of employment.
