    Duties include:

    • direct involvement in the study, design, and construction phase of projects involving industrial water and wastewater systems;
    • develop and provide innovative engineering solutions within a wide range of treatment technologies, including physical/chemical and biological treatment;
    • support activities within the Charlotte treatability laboratory and use that data to provide treatment systems that exceed client expectations;

    A Metal Fabricator in Charlotte, NC is looking for an experienced stainless steel welder. The qualified candidate must be able to:

    • Perform MIG, and TIG type welds with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon metals while at times being out of position.
    • Read and properly interpret a complex set of custom fabrication drawings.
    • Possess experience with welding, and then blending, polished stainless steel while TIGing and “walking the cup”.
    • Feel comfortable in cutting, fitting and welding SS pipe assemblies.

    In all cases, aesthetics are as important as the overall integrity of the weld.

     

    A written and actual weld test must be performed. Candidate must complete a drug screening process. Hours of operation are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday.
