    The Graphics Technician performs a variety of advanced graphic art renderings, layout designs, and creates professional quality artwork and design for both printed and digital media. The Graphics Technician designs a wide variety of publications and materials for internal communications as well as communications with customers and the community.

     

    The Ideal Candidate
    Should possess advanced level skills in Adobe Creative Suite software in a Mac environment including: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Intermediate to advanced level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, and Excel. Moderate to intermediate level skill in programs such as: Quark, Adobe Freehand, and Corel Painter. Knowledge of web design and layout as well as computer animation techniques and possession of a Bachelor’s degree are highly desirable.

    Equivalent to completion of an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Arts or a closely related field and three years of experience in professional graphic design. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) is a special district responsible for the collection and treatment of wastewater in a 146 square mile area of central Contra Costa County. Our mission is to protect public health and the environment.

 

CCCSD is a progressive sanitary district providing wastewater collection and treatment services to approximately 462,000 people in the central Contra Costa area.     The successful candidate will be involved in the definition, design, simulation, layout supervision, characterization and release to production of high-performance analog blocks using state of the art CMOS process technology.

    Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
    • Deliver transistor-level design for voltage regulators and high precision analog circuits
    • Thorough Pre Silicon validation to ensure quality design; including Power, Reliability, Aging, etc.
    • Be responsible for Mask Design supervision ensuring optimized layout
    • Provide Post Silicon validation / debug support to ensure silicon quality
    Other attributes required for this position include: ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms; ability to organize and plan work to meet program deadlines; excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-site and cross-functional teams.


    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • BS in EE, CE or CS with 4+ years of experience
    • Experience with Analog IC design experience encompassing circuit design, circuit simulation, and physical layout .
